Resumen de La Tradición pilarista y los orígenes del cristianismo en Aragón

El artículo estudia la bimilenaria tradición de la venida de la Virgen del Pilar a Zaragoza en el marco de los orígenes del cristianismo en Aragón. Se explica, asimismo, la naturaleza, diferencias y límites de los conceptos de Tradición e Historia. Finalmente, se exponen las razones historiográficas a favor y en contra de esta secular Tradición, teniendo en cuenta tanto las tesis de los defensores como de los impugnadores de la misma. Se presenta también el texto original y un estudio paleográfico de dicha Tradición, custodiado en un manuscrito medieval del Archivo del Pilar.

The article studies the bi-millenary tradition of the coming of the Virgen del Pilar to Zaragoza within the context of the origins of Christianity in Aragon. It also explains the nature, differences and limits of the concepts of Tradition and History. Finally, the historiographical reasons for and against this secular Tradition are exposed, taking into account both the theses of the defenders and the impugrants of the same. The original text and a paleographic study of this Tradition, guarded in a medieval manuscript of the Archivo del Pilar, are also presented.
