Murcia, España
We describe a new species of Anaglyptus Mulsant, 1839 based on the study of a great quantity of specimens collected in the mountains of the extreme southeastern Iberian, provinces of Albacete, Granada, Jaen and Murcia. The new species has been compared with the closest taxa, such as Anaglyptus (Anaglyptus) mysticus (Linnaeus, 1758) from which it is separated by its different coloration, the very acuminate elitral apex of males and the differences in the male and female genitalia..
