    La artrosis precoz es uno de los grandes enemigos tras la cirugía meniscal, sobre todo en pacientes jóvenes. Cuando la reparación meniscal no es posible, existen pocas alternativas terapéuticas con el fin de prevenir dicha complicación a medio y largo plazo. En esta tesitura se puede plantear la posibilidad de llevar a cabo técnicas como los implantes con materiales sustitutivos o trasplantes meniscales con aloinjertos. En este artículo se expone la evolución de una paciente de 25 años al que se le realiza uno de esos trasplantes meniscales.

    Early osteoarthritis is one of the great enemies after meniscal surgery, especially in young patients. When meniscal repair is not possible, there are few therapeutic alternatives in order to prevent this complication in the medium and long term. In this situation we can consider the possibility of carrying out techniques such as implants with substitute materials or meniscal transplants with allografts. This article describes the evolution of a 25-year-old patient who underwent one of these meniscal transplants.
