  • The article explores the Pattern and Decoration art movement of the 1970s and 1980s. Noted are exhibitions featuring this work including "With Pleasure: Pattern and Decoration in American Art, 1972–1985," at the LAXART in Los Angeles, California, and "Surface/Depth: The Decorative After Miriam Schapiro," at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York City, as well as artists involved with the movement including Jane Kaufmann, John Perreault, Jeff Perrone.
