    Este artículo aborda el proceso de realización del documental chileno La Resistencia de los Metales, el cual desde los testimonios orales de sus protagonistas relata las prácticas artísticas y culturales ocurridas en el campo de prisioneros de Chacabuco durante la dictadura militar en Chile, entre los años 1973 y 1974. El teatro, la poesía, la música, la artesanía, el dibujo y el show dominical se convirtieron en las formas de resistencia, permitiendo a los prisioneros encontrar una manera de sobrevivir a la prisión, confrontar a sus captores y conformar un nuevo espacio para la creación artística y cultural organizada. Bajo esta perspectiva, este artículo reflexiona en el carácter público de la narración testimonial y los desafíos de su representación audiovisual.

    This article deals with the process of making the Chilean documentary La Resistencia de los Metales (The Resistance of Metals), which from the oral testimonies of its protagonists relates the artistic and cultural practices that occurred in the prison camp of Chacabuco during the military dictatorship in Chile, between 1973 and 1974. Theater, poetry, music, crafts, drawing and the Sunday show became forms of resistance, allowing prisoners to find a way to survive prison, confront their captors and shape a new space for organized artistic and cultural creation. In this perspective, this article reflects on the public nature of the testimonial narrative and the challenges of their audiovisual representation.
