    Esta ponencia muestra la primera parte de la investigación "Nuevos vínculos y desafíos entre lo artístico y lo pedagógico. Abriendo campos hacia una re-conceptualización del arte y el rol del(la) artista en la sociedad actual", realizada en la Universidad de Los Lagos, Chile. El objetivo del estudio es conocer y comprender cómo los(as) artistas visuales que se desempeñan como docentes (en educación formal o informal) en Chile, vinculan la práctica artística con la pedagógica y cómo estos cruces tienen el potencial de generar nuevas propuestas en la producción artística y la educación artística en Chile. A partir de la primera etapa del estudio se ejemplifican propuestas que son un giro en la manera de hacer arte y pensar el arte y responden a cuatro formas en que una práctica artística y/o muestra expositiva puede visibilizar los vínculos entre las artes y la educación

    This paper shows the first part of the research "New links and challenges between the artistic and the pedagogical, opening fields towards a re-conceptualization of art and the role of the artist in today's society", held at the University of Los Lagos, Chile. The objective of the study is to know and understand how the visual artists who work as teachers (in formal or informal education) in Chile, link artistic practice with pedagogy and how these crossings have the potential to generate new proposals in the artistic production and artistic education in Chile. From the first stage of the study are exemplified proposals that are a turn in the way of making art and thinking about art and respond to four ways in which an artistic practice and / or exhibition can visualize the links between the arts and education.
