  • The article discusses molecular anthropology, which considers humans as a mass divided in an infinite number of molecular cases, as the key notion for the 16th Istanbul Biennial, "The Seventh Continent." Topics covered include the importance of understanding today's anthropology as no longer centered on the human species, the inclusion of nonhumans along with human diversity in the global biennial, and the role of contemporary art as a host to am entanglement between the human and nonhuman.
