    El objetivo del artículo plantea una lectura emocional como herramienta metodológica para tener un mayor entendimiento de un territorio en la costa atlántica gallega. Mediante su análisis y con el ánimo de completar el conocimiento de su carácter, se leen sus huellas a través de la complejidad de la emoción que provoca su experiencia en continuo cambio. Encontrar las raíces de la construcción emocional de un territorio concreto, argumenta un razonamiento tan eficaz como el que se construye guiado por el impulso científico cuando trata de esclarecer datos históricos y científicos. La vivencia de su arquitectura, su orden y su poder evocador se indaga con el conocimiento racional y analítico y provocando la emoción que lo acompaña. Por eso se reflexiona sobre la piedra y el agua como elementos geográficos que lo caracterizan y lo significan a través del hombre que los interpreta en continua convivencia. La capacidad de estos elementos de organizar múltiples paisajes y despertar emociones cada vez que se leen y se conquistan construye también el territorio del presente. Como el fin es buscar nuevos significados para entender un territorio singular y expresivo, se reflexiona sobre lo pertinente del uso de un lenguaje emocional y racional.

    The aim of this article sets out an emotional reading of a territory in the Atlantic Galician coast, as a methodological tool for having a greater understanding of it. By means of its analysis and with the intention of rounding out the knowledge of its character, we read its traces through the emotion that provokes its mutable experience. Finding the roots of the emotional construction of a particular place an argument for reasoning, as effective as the one guided by the scientific impulse when it tries to clarify historical and scientific information. The life lessons from its architecture, order and evocative power, are sought with the rational and analytical knowledge and provoking the emotions attached to it. Therefore, a reflection on the stone and water as the geographical elements that characterize and symbolize the territory for a community who coexist with them. Their aptitude to organize multiple landscapes and awakening emotions, whenever they are read and conquered, shape the construction of the current territory. Since our purpose is to look for new meanings to understand a significant territory, the pertinence of the use of an emotional language walking with the rational one, is taken under consideration.
