    El actual trabajo explora las aportaciones de Manuel Sacristán (Madrid, 1925-Barcelona 1985) realizó en el campo del diálogo entre cristianismo y marxismo, tanto en su trabajo teórico como en su práctica política. Para ello se realiza un recorrido biográfico e intelectual sobre su figura. Resultado de esta exploración es la clarificación de los términos del debate, los aprendizajes para el diálogo con el ateísmo y el materialismo histórico, y su anticipación de los retos que emanan del pluralismo religioso -o de concepciones del mundo- ante la voluntad de crear proyectos políticos emancipatorios confluyentes.

    The current work explores the contributions that Manuel Sacristán (Madrid, 1925 – Barcelona, 1985) made in the field of the dialogue between Christianity and Marxism both in his theoretical work and in his political practice. For this reason, a biographical and intellectual journey is carried out on his figure. The result of this exploration is the clarification of the terms of the debate, the apprenticeships for the dialogue with atheism and historical materialism, and his anticipation of the challenges that arise from religious pluralism – or conceptions of the world – in the will to create confluent emancipatory political projects.
