Resumen de Políticas de imigração e integração: intervenção do Serviço Social

The theme of the following article is the immigration within the scope of Social Work, addressing integration policies regarding an informed practice.
The representations within the reality of the migrant population direct us to the diagnosed problems of Social Work, which have been the target of action of social policies. Social Work intervention regarding immigrants takes center stage in this research, as an integration agent and promoter of the effecting of Human Rights. The analysis of the intervention strategies ruled by the orientation of Social Work models, allow us to systematize the Social Work intervention in the operationalization of social policies and responses in view of the issues that more deeply affect this segment of population. The results enable us to take a look of immigration contemplating good practices use from Social Workers, resulting in a contribution to the attaining of theoretical and methodological knowledge in Social Work within immigration.

O presente artigo tem como temática a imigração enquadrada nos domínios de intervenção do Serviço Social, abordando as políticas de integração para uma prática informada. As representações nas dimensões da realidade da população migrante remetem para as problemáticas diagnosticadas em Serviço Social, alvo de atuação de políticas sociais. A intervenção do Serviço Social com imigrantes assume o foco central deste trabalho de investigação, como agente de integração e promotor da efetivação dos Direitos Humanos. A análise das estratégias de intervenção, pautadas pelas orientações dos modelos do Serviço Social, permitem-nos sistematizar a intervenção do Serviço Social na operacionalização das políticas e respostas sociais face às problemáticas que mais afetam esta população. Os resultados obtidos possibilitaram um olhar sobre a imigração, contemplando práticas integradoras utilizadas por Assistentes Sociais, resultando a sua apresentação num contributo para a produção de conhecimento teóricometodológico em Serviço Social no âmbito da imigração.The theme of the following article is the immigration within the scope of Social Work, addressing integration policies regarding an informed practice.
