La justicia abierta es un tema que ha suscitado gran interés en ciertos sectores de la academia y la magistratura, el cual se ha desprendido de la noción de gobierno abierto. Este artículo busca fortalecer la idea de que la apertura es una virtud ya tratada en los temas de la ética judicial. De ese modo, la justicia abierta no sería un concepto totalmente novedoso o sujeto a una moda, sino, por el contrario, un viejo tema que ya se ha tratado en otros momentos de la historia y que se consideraría toral como elemento indispensable en cualquier ejercicio de impartición de justicia

Open justice is an issue that has aroused great interest in certain sectors of the academy and the judiciary, the issue has fallen away from the notion of open government. This article tries to strengthen the idea that openness is a virtue already treated within the themes of judicial ethics, in this way open justice would not be a totally novel concept or subject to a fashion, but on the contrary an old theme that it has already been dealt with at other moments in history and it would be considered a fundamental element in any exercise in the administration of justice
