    La formación de valores constituye una de las acciones más importantes que debe realizar la universidad cubana de hoy. Hoy más que nunca, frente a las exigencias y condiciones sociales, se acrecienta la necesidad de buscar en las raíces históricas el contenido para la formación de valores patrióticos, el lograr el desarrollo de sentimientos patrios, revolucionarios, de identidad nacional y local, de amor y el respecto a los símbolos patrios, atributos nacionales, a los héroes y mártires nacionales y de la localidad. En este trabajo proponemos actividades para consolidar el valor patriotismo en docentes- estudiantes en Formación Inicial de la Universidad de Las Tunas. Estas se realizan a través de actividades docentes, laborales, investigativas y extracurriculares. A partir de la implementación de las actividades, en los distintos ámbitos de la vida del estudiante universitario, se observaron resultados satisfactorios en sus modos de actuación, pues los estudiantes demuestran sentimientos de cubanía, conocimiento y respeto a los símbolos nacionales.  Se percibe en ellos una actitud adecuada hacia el cuidado de lo que nos rodea, se muestran optimistas ante el futuro de la Patria. Se confirma que sienten respeto y admiración por quienes contribuyeron y contribuyen a forjar la Nación Cubana. Se concluye que, incorporando a los docentes de Formación Inicial en variadas y dinámicas actividades, se alcanza un protagonismo en sus modos de actuación desde su formación patriótica.

    The formation of values ​​is one of the most important actions that the Cuban university of today must carry out. Today, more than ever, in the face of social demands and conditions, the need to search in the historical roots for the formation of patriotic values, to achieve the development of patriotic, revolutionary feelings, of national and local identity, of love and respect for national symbols, national attributes, national and local heroes and martyrs increases. In this paper we propose activities to consolidate the value of patriotism in teachers- students in Initial Training at Las Tunas University. These are carried out through teaching, working, research and extracurricular activities. From the implementation of the activities, in the different areas of the life of the university student, satisfactory results were observed, since the students demonstrate feelings of pride for being Cuban, knowledge and respect to the national symbols. It is perceived they have an adequate attitude towards the care of what surrounds us, they are optimistic about the future of the Homeland. It is confirmed that they feel respect and admiration for those who contributed and contribute to forge the Homeland. It is concluded that, by incorporating the initial training teachers in varied and dynamic activities, a leadership in their modes of action is reached from their patriotic formation.
