Resumen de La Función Orientadora. Su Importancia en la Preparación de los Jefes de Ciclo

  El trabajo tiene como objeto el proceso de preparación de los jefes de ciclo en la Educación Primaria, al observar que a algunos de ellos les ha faltado preparación para el tratamiento a la función orientadora, limitando la efectividad de su labor. Es a partir de ese problema que se planteó como objetivo elaborar una estrategia metodológica para lograr que ellos puedan cumplir con esa función. Se realizó un estudio longitudinal de intervención en una muestra totalmente aleatoria de diez jefes de ciclo de la Enseñanza Primaria del municipio Puerto Padre, provincia Las Tunas, Cuba. La investigación reveló las potencialidades e insuficiencias de los jefes de ciclo para desarrollar la función orientadora, expresadas al elaborar y dirigir estrategias de orientación educativa, en correspondencia con las necesidades y potencialidades de los escolares. La estrategia metodológica que se propone se caracteriza por la sistematización de los contenidos y vías propias de la función orientadora. Se concluye que la estrategia desarrollada constituye una vía para preparar a los jefes de ciclo de manera teórica y práctica en los contenidos y elementos esenciales de la función orientadora, contribuyendo de esta manera a elevar el dominio de ellos en la preparación metodológica que reciben por parte de la estructura municipal.

  The purpose of the work is the process of preparing the heads of cycle in Primary Education, at observing that some of them have lacked preparation for the treatment of the orientation function, limiting the effectiveness of their work. It is from this problem that the objective was to develop a methodological strategy to ensure that they can fulfill that specific function. A longitudinal intervention study was carried out in a totally random sample of ten heads of cycle of Primary Education in the Puerto Padre municipality, Las Tunas province, Cuba. The research revealed the potentials and insufficiencies of the heads of cycle to develop the orientation function, expressed when developing and directing educational guidance strategies, in correspondence with the needs and potential of schoolchildren. The methodological strategy proposed is characterized by the systematization of the contents and pathways of the orientation function. It is concluded that the strategy developed constitutes a way to prepare the cycle leaders in a theoretical and practical way in the essential contents and elements of the orientation function, contributing in this way to increase their mastery in the methodological preparation they receive from of the municipal structure.
