    En la presente investigación se planteó como objetivo general estudiar la evolución de la economía en la sociedad ecuatoriana durante el período 2006 – 2016, con el propósito de establecer la situación actual de la economía, con exactitud, dentro de cada uno de las capas sociales, e identificar la evolución que tienen en el Ecuador, para manifestar el perfil de cada uno de los estratos. Se utilizó la investigación de tipo documental y descriptiva, para la obtención de información específica del tema propuesto. Se utilizó el método deductivo. En cuanto a las técnicas, se hizo uso de la investigación bibliográfica y documental. En los actuales momentos, el Ecuador y su sociedad aparentan una economía estable, y es de mucha importancia investigar en qué condiciones se encuentra realmente la economía ecuatoriana. De allí surge la necesidad de realizar este proyecto de investigación. En los resultados más significativos, está determinar los diferentes sectores económicos del país, reconocer el apoyo de la sociedad dentro de la economía, y adquirir conocimientos sobre el actual estado económico del Ecuador.

    In the present investigation the general objective was to study the evolution of the economy in Ecuadorian society during the period 2006 - 2016, with the purpose of investigating the Ecuadorian society to establish the current exact situation of the economy within each of the social layers and identify the evolution they have in Ecuador to manifest the profile of each of the strata. A documentary and descriptive research was used to obtain specific information on the proposed topic, in the same way the deductive method was used. As for the techniques, bibliographic and documentary research was used. At present, Ecuador and its society appear to be a stable economy, and it is very important to investigate under what conditions the Ecuadorian economy really is. From there arises the need to carry out this research. In the most significant results are to determine the different economic sectors of the country, to recognize the support of society within the economy, and acquire knowledge about the current economic state of Ecuador.
