  • The article aims at articulating insights from Italian Theory and World-Ecology. Its goal is to show that, although such perspectives relate to the issue of (ecological) crisis in very differ-ent terms, they can effectively integrate each other if transposed on another theoretical level - that of a labour-based genealogy of the question concerning the environment. From such con-vergence a new interpretation of the ecological crisis of contemporary capitalism can emerge.
