Resumen de Ética vs ontología según Emmanuel Levinas: El vínculo deconstructivo entre el Decir y lo Dicho

Este artículo se propone examinar los vínculos que Levinas establece en la segunda de sus obras mayores, De otro modo que ser, o más allá de la esencia,entre ética y ontología, conceptos que en esa obra se convertirán en los peculiarestérminos “el Decir” y “lo Dicho” (le Dire et le Dit), los cuales cobrarán unafisonomía subversiva, es decir, la ética obtendrá el primado discursivo, mientras quela ontología, habitualmente disciplina primera y fundacional, será sometida a sitiopor la búsqueda de la justicia y del profetismo (le Dire). La razón fundamental quemueve a Levinas a esta conversión conceptual es la superación del lenguaje todavíaontológico presente en Totalidad e Infinito, la primera de sus dos obras mayores, dela cual fluyen nociones inolvidables como “epifanía del rostro”, el Otro, la caricia, laerrancia y el nomadismo (el exilio), Dios.

This article examines the links that Levinas establishes in the second of his major works, Otherwise Than Being, or, Beyond Essence, between ethics and ontology, concepts that in the aforementioned work will become the peculiar terms “the Saying” and “the Said” (le Dire et le Dit), which will take a subversive appearance, that is, ethics will obtain the discursive primacy, while ontology, usually first and foundational discipline, will be diminished thanks to the search for justice and prophetism (le Dire). The fundamental reason that moves Levinas to this conceptual conversion is the overcoming of the still ontological language present in Totality and Infinity, the first of his two major works, from which flow unforgettable notions such as “epiphany of the face, the Other, the caress, wandering and nomadism (exile), God”.
