En este trabajo reflexionaremos en torno al racionalismo cartesiano,justificando su fundamento en las ideas innatas. Expondremos los argumentos por loscuales Descartes rechaza las ideas adventicias y ficticias como cimiento para laciencia universal. Y, por último, presentaremos las objeciones realizadas por Caterusy Gassendi respecto a la propuesta cartesiana, y las respuestas dadas por Descartes.

In this paper, we will reflect about/on the Cartesian rationalism, justifying its foundation in innate ideas. We will expose the arguments by which Descartes rejects adventitious and fictitious ideas as the foundation for universal science. And finally, we will present the objections made by Caterus and Gassendi regarding the Cartesian proposal, and the answers given by Descartes.
