Este texto plantea la posibilidad de realizar una aproximación entre la angustia heideggeriana y la angustia lacaniana. De este modo, se comprueba cómo ambos autores, aunque en un principio puedan parecer opuestos, comprenden la angustia como el estado esencial y propio del hombre. Tanto Heidegger como Lacan presentan la angustia como el estado en el que lo imposible, lo que no puede ser representado como objeto, se manifiesta en su esencia. Así, ambos señalan que el objeto (que no es en absoluto «un» objeto) de la angustia es la condición para la aparición de cualquier objeto, es decir, plantean la angustia y aquello que ella presenta como la manifestación de lo real mismo.

This paper tackles the possibility of a relation between Heideggerian and Lacanian anxiety. Thus, we realize how both authors understand anxiety as the essential characteristic of human beings. Both Heidegger and Lacan state anxiety as the event where the impossible, that what cannot be depicted, shows itself in its essence. In this sense, both Heidegger and Lacan underscore that the object (which is not «an» object at all) of anxiety is the condition for the appearance of any object, that is to say, they state anxiety and that it presents as the manifestation of the real itself. However, it is from anxiety where we can realize the notable difference between both authors.
