Los inventarios de bienes son valiosos instrumentos para conocer los intereses culturales y estéticos de la élite. Analizarlos posibilita un mejor conocimiento sobre el coleccionismo, fenómeno ligado a la evolución del gusto y al desarrollo de tendencias histórico-artísticas en prósperos enclaves urbanos. Bajo dichas premisas, el presente estudio proporciona noticias inéditas sobre la colección pictórica conservada en el Palacio de Torre Tagle (1761).
Inventories of goods are valuable resources to know the cultural and aesthetic interests of elite. Analyze them make possible an accurate knowledge about the art collecting, closely linked to the taste's evolution and to historical and artistic trend's development in flourishing cities. Following these premises, this study provides unpublished information about the pictorial collection preserved in the Torre Tagle Palace (1761).
