Tras describir el Cancionero de Íxar en el contexto de la Corte aragonesa de Nápoles, este estudio atiende a los tópicos grecolatinos y, en particular, a la materia elegíaca. Desde esta perspectiva se comentan dos poemas a la muerte de Alfonso V el Magnánimo: la Visión de Diego del Castillo y la Epístola de Fernando Filipo de Escobar.
In this paper, after describing the Cancionero de Íxar in the context of the Aragon Court in Naples, a special attention is given to the Greek Latin topics and particularly to the elegiac content. From this point of view, two poems to the death of Alfonso V are studied: the Vision of Diego del Castillo and the Epístola of Femando Filipo de Escobar.
