Lo intocable, la posibilidad de tocar en lo intocable y el respeto a la ley misma del tacto, son algunos de los aspectos centrales del libro que Jacques Derrida dedicó a Jean-Luc Nancy, Le toucher, Jean-Luc Nancy. En el presente artículo se recoge una revisión crítica de estos temas, buscando esclarecer o facilitar la aproximación a la lectura paciente y rigurosa que Derrida pone a trabajar en esta obra. Esta ley del tacto supera el debate sobre la percepción y se encamina hacia el cuestionamiento de la ética involucrada en la definición de este sentido. Un tacto que ya no remite únicamente al sentido llamado tacto, sino que apunta también a la cordialidad y al respeto, en el contacto con el otro. En su recorrido, Derrida examinará también la caricia en Lévinas para desgranar su intención de tocar en lo intocable, buscando con ello acercarnos a la raíz del tocar que encontraremos finalmente en Nancy. Desbrozado este camino nos centraremos ya en la obra filosófica de este autor sobre el cuerpo y su deconstrucción, así como la importancia otorgada a cierta nota póstuma de Freud. En definitiva, buscamos asentar las nociones fundamentales del tocar en Nancy, así como su originalidad frente al haptocentrismo que caracteriza las elaboraciones fenomenológicas precedentes.

The untouchable, a chance of touching the untouchable and the respect of this law of touchitself, these are some of the key themes of Jacques Derrida’s Le toucher, Jean-Luc Nancy. This paperpresents a critical reading of this issues with the aim of easing and clearing the path to Derrida’s patientand rigorous work on Jean-Luc Nancy. This law of touch goes beyond the discussion on perceptionand gets on the track of an ethics involved in the very definition of this sense. A touch that no longerrefers exclusively on the sense, but on the cordiality and respect of the contact with the other. On thisroad to the core of what Nancy claims to be the untouchable, we’ll also review the caress in the work ofLévinas, as it’s one of the best examples of the risks involved when trying to touch beyond touch itself.Once this path is cleared, we’ll approach the works of Nancy on the body and its deconstruction, as alsothe great deal that he sees in a posthumous note of Freud. Finally, this paper looks for a clearer but solidaccess to the oeuvre of Jean-Luc Nancy, and its cleverness in face of the preceding phenomenologicalhighlights.
