Con fecha del 7 de marzo de 2019 se publicó en el Boletín Oficial del Estado el Real Decreto-ley 6/2019, de 1 de marzo, de medidas urgentes para garantía de la igualdad de trato y de igualdad de oportunidades entre mujeres y hombres en el empleo y la ocupación. Desde el 8 de marzo de 2019 las antiguas prestaciones de maternidad y paternidad ya no existen como tales, aunque coloquialmente se sigan utilizando esos términos. En este artículo vamos intentar aportar algo de luz a la nuevo régimen jurídico que ha venido a sustituirlas.
