Resumen de Tres presidentes en la maestranza central de ferrocarriles durante los gobiernos del frente popular, (1936-1952)

El siguiente artículo tiene por propósito estudiar las visitas e inspecciones realizadas por tres presidentes de la República, y sus respectivas comitivas, a la Maestranza Central de Ferrocarriles, ubicada en la ciudad de San Bernardo, durante los años de los gobiernos radicales. En estas visitas de Estado intentamos advertir el carácter de práctica política que hubo en ellas, proponiendo además que en aquellas realizadas a la Maestranza de San Bernardo, se escondieron las intenciones de palpar el sentir del gremio ferroviario frente al acontecer del país, fidelizar su apoyo y, en lo posible, situar a la Maestranza como un taller modelo a nivel nacional, en el cual se logró implementar con éxito las políticas desarrollistas llevadas a cabo desde el Estado.

The following article aims to study the visits and inspections carried out by three presidents of the Republic, and their respective committees, to the Maestranza Central de Ferrocarriles, located in the city of San Bernardo, during the years of Radical Governments. In these State visits we try to notice the character of political practice that was in them, also proposing that in those made to the San Bernardo Maestranza, the intentions of feeling the feeling of the railroad guild against the event of the country were hidden, to loyalty their support and, where possible, place the Maestranza as a model workshop at the national level, in which it was possible to successfully implement the developmental policies carried out from the State.
