En 1813 fueron inventariados los bienes dejados por Urquijo en Madrid, entre los que figuraba una biblioteca compuesta por algunos centenares de libros. El documento del inventario forma parte de un archivo privado y ha permanecido inédito hasta la actualidad. En las siguientes páginas presentamos una edición del texto junto con un pequeño trabajo introductorio donde se analiza la conformación de la biblioteca y se ofrecen algunas claves interpretativas, subrayando la idea de que refleja dos tipos de mentalidades.

In 1813 the possessions neglected by Urquijo in Madrid were detailed account; between them, it appeared a library formed by some hundreds of books. The document of inventory forms part of a prívate and has remained unpublished until the present. On the following pages we show an edition of the text together with a short and introductory work where we analyze the line-up of the library and offer some interpretative keys, underlining the idea that it reflects two types of mentalities.
