    El nuestro recorrido por la obra del Ramón J. Velásquez hemos abordado diferentes ángulos y vertientes; desde su dimensión filosófica hasta la historiográfica. Metodológicamente abordamos la aproximación historiográfica en Ramón J. Velásquez siguiendo la Escuela de Annales, por igual trabaja los acontecimientos de una época pretérita y el tiempo événementiale (del acontecimiento), como lo recomendara Marc Bloch. Entre los objetivos nos proponemos mostrar que incursiona como historiador desde la visión del positivista que busca con ahogo en archivos las fuentes de sus textos históricos hasta el historiador re-posado, gracias a su larga vida, que indaga las emergentes tendencias del tiempo presente (Ricoeur). Lo cual ubica su obra cercana a la tendencia historiográfica del giro lingüístico; quizá sin proponérselo hoy su obra está en la palestra de las visiones más innovadores de la historiografía actual.

    Our journey through the work of Ramón J. Velásquez we have approached different angles and slopes; From its philosophical to historiographical dimension. Methodologically we approach the historiographical approach in Ramón J. Velásquez following the School of Annales, equally works the events of a previous time and the time événementiale (of the event), as recommended by Marc Bloch. Among the objectives we propose to show that he ventures as a historian from the perspective of the positivist who searches with archives for the sources of his historical texts to the historian rested, thanks to his long life, which investigates the emerging tendencies of the present time (Ricoeur). Which places his work close to the historiographic tendency of the linguistic turn; Perhaps unintentionally today his work is at the forefront of the most innovative visions of current historiography.
