    En este ensayo se ofrece, sin pretensión alguna de exhaustividad, una consideración del panorama reciente de la historia cultural. Considerando inútil pretender cubrir su totalidad, se ha optado por un primer bloque introductorio que plantee la cuestión, un segundo bloque de apreciaciones sectoriales, donde se valora y se sopesa lo que la autora entiende como los principales lineamientos de la profunda transformación que conllevan el auge y la centralidad creciente de la historia cultural, y, finalmente, un tercer bloque en el que se concede un tratamiento específico a los cambios introducidos por la historia de las mujeres en sus perspectivas feministas, vector teórico decisivo en la construcción actual de los discursos en torno a la subjetividad.

    Without any claim to exhaustivity, this essay offers an overview of recent cultural history. Given that any attempt to cover the subject in its entirety would be futile, the text begins with an introductory section that raises the issue and proceeds to a second section of sector-wide assessments in which the author evaluates and weighs up the main strands in the profound transformation that has led to the rise and growing centrality of cultural history. From there, the third section concludes with a specific treatment of changes introduced by women’s history and its feminist perspectives, a crucial theoretical vector in the current construction of discourses around subjectivity.
