    los conocimientos adquiridos en materia de reproducción asistida durante el siglo pasado han permitido el aumento en las tasas de éxito y la mayor seguridad en los tratamientos de reproducción asistida (TRA) actuales.

    Las técnicas de crio preservación, mediante vitrificación, han conseguido preservar la fertilidad y retrasar la maternidad, dando respuesta a un nuevo hábito social.

    La medicina reproductiva del futuro debe caminar hacia una mayor eficiencia de los TRA y al nacimiento de niños sanos.

    the knowledge acquired in the field of assisted reproduction during the past century has allowed the increase in success rates and the greater safety in current assisted reproduction treatments (ART).

    The techniques of cryopreservation, through vitrification, have allowed to preserve fertility and delay motherhood and a new habit of society.

    Reproductive medicine of the future should move towards greater efficiency of ART and the birth of healthy children.
