  • Resumen
    • Despite the increasing number of hospitality master’s programs, little is known about their curricula. Thus, we analyzed a total of 94 hospitality or tourism master’s programs in 4 regions (North America, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Europe) to examine similarities and differences in their characteristics and curricula using data collected from school Web sites. Results showed that master’s program models vary widely, indicating that there currently exists no representative model. Developing at least a common core set of competencies across regions will be necessary for hospitality and tourism to continue to evolve as a field.
