    The current article is part of a larger study that searches an approach to the meaning of divine lactation in ancient Egypt. After an initial publication focused on the kurotrophic iconography “Iconographies of Lactating Goddesses in Ancient Egypt: Typologies and Evolution,” the objective of this contribution is to gather knowledge about the properties of divine breast milk, with a view to understanding the function of lactating goddesses in Egyptian culture
