En el trabajo que se presenta se analizarán los testimonios contenidos en los periplos y portulanos de la antigüedad que nos han llegado a través de una serie de compiladores desde el siglo I hasta el VI pero que recogen noticias de marinos que surcaron estas aguas en tiempos remotos.
Lo que hay de verdad y de mítico se analiza en el presente estudio poniendo de manifiesto lo legado por una serie de autores que no son muy conocidos por el público no especializado.

In the presented work there will be analyzed the testimonies contained in the late long voyages and ancians maps of the old age that arrived through a number of compilers from century I to the IV but bring news of sailors that plied these waters in remote years.
What there is of mythical and truth is analyzed in the present study remarking the left by a number of not very known authors by the non specialized public.
