  • Multielemental geochemical analysis was carried out in 2.044 samples of stream sediment located at the northeast of León province in order to use in mineral exploration and environmental geochemistry. Mostly elements (more than 30) were analized by ICP-AES with aqua regia (Rodiezmo and Riaño sampling surveys) or multiacid digestion (Porma sampling survey). In some samples, gold, and other elements as Hg, Pd and Pt also was analysed. Probability plots were used for anomaly recognition and background characterization and multivariate analysis were used to understand relationships among elements and explore the underlying controlling processes.
