    Se ha realizado el estudio de los árboles singulares del término municipal de Santa Cruz de Tenerife según los criterios de conservación y porte del ejemplar, interés botánico e interés histórico o cultural. El objetivo principal ha consistido en disponer de un catálogo georreferenciado de los ejemplares singulares del municipio, de utilidad para la gestión, es decir para la protección, conservación y mantenimiento. Los ejemplares se han dividido en dos grandes grupos, los existentes en zona urbana y los ejemplares silvestres en el medio natural. De cada uno de ellos se ha realizado una ficha con la información taxonómica, parámetros morfológicos de altura y perímetro, biotipo, fenología, fotografía digital, georreferenciación, datos históricos y culturales, descripción del ejemplar, motivos de singularidad y propuestas de intervención. Se han seleccionado un total de 77 ejemplares que contribuirán a la divulgación y puesta en valor del Patrimonio Botánico del municipio.

    The study of the singular trees of the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, has been carried out, according to the criteria of conservation and bearing of the specimen, botanical interest and historical or cultural interest. The main objective has been to make available a georeferenced catalog of the singular specimens of the municipality, to aid, in the management, protection, conservation and maintenance of these. The specimens have been divided into two large groups, those existing in urban areas and wild specimens. For each one of them a file has been made containing the taxonomic information, morphological parameters of height and perimeter, biotype, phenology, digital photography, georeferencing, historical and cultural data, description of the specimen, reasons of singularity and intervention proposals. A total of 77 specimens have been selected that will contribute to the spreading and enhancement of the Botanical Heritage of the municipality.
