    En la actualidad la televisión desempeña un importante papel como medio de comunicación, al influir en la forma de actuar o pensar de las personas, logrando transformar la manera de percibir la realidad circundante. Frente a los avances tecnológicos la televisión tiene el reto de educar, informar y entretener de la manera más atractiva posible. Mediante la revisión bibliográfica y la consulta de documentos se elabora el presente trabajo, el cual constituye un acercamiento a la historia de la televisión en Cuba y en particular de TunasVisión como canal territorial que a la altura de sus 18 años de creado continúa siendo la imagen que usted protagoniza.

    Actually television plays an important role as a means of communication, by influencing the way people act or think, managing to transform the way of perceiving the surrounding reality. Faced with technological advances, television has the challenge of educating, informing and entertaining in the most attractive way possible. By means of the bibliographic revision and the consultation of documents the present work is elaborated, which constitutes an approach to the history of television in Cuba and in particular of TunasVisión as a territorial channel that, at the height of its 18 years of creation, continues to be the image what you star.
