    El texto traza el recorrido vital y artístico del pintor Esteban Vicente, y su relación con los pintores murcianos Juan Bonafé, Pedro Flores y Ramón Gaya. Su estancia en La Alberca y su colaboración con la revista murciana de la Generación del 27 “Verso y Prosa”. Su marcha a EE. UU. y su vinculación y compromiso con la abstracción americana y los pintores Rothko y Willem de Kooning. Su paso por el Black Mountain College. Y el reencuentro de Murcia con su pintura, en 2002, a través de la exposición celebrada en el Centro de Arte Palacio Almudí, y la pequeña muestra colgada en la galería ArtNueve.

    The text traces the vital and artistic path of Esteban Vicente, and it´s relationship with the Murcia painters Juan Bonafé, Pedro Flores and Ramón Gaya. It´s life in La Alberca and collaboration with the Murcia magazine “Verso y Prosa” (Verse and Prose). His leave to USA and his connection and commitment with the American Abstraction and painters as Rothko and Willem de Kooning. His time at the Black Mountain College. And the reunión of Murcia wiht his painting in 2002, through the exhibition at the Center of Art Almudi Palace, and the sample of the Works curated at the art gallery ArtNueve.
