Resumen de Métaphores et discours experts : Conflit et cohérence à l’épreuve du transfert interlinguistique

The metaphor analysis model proposed by Prandi (2017) and based on the degree of conflict of the metaphorical interaction will be put to the test of the terminological metaphor. We will focus on the possible correlation between the conflictual or coherent nature of the metaphor and the dynamics emerging during the translation process, with particular regard to the impact of translation choices on the function of metaphors as framing tools in expert communication.

Le modèle d’analyse des métaphores proposée par Prandi (2017) et fondé sur le degré de conflit de l’interaction métaphorique sera mis dans ces pages à l’épreuve de la métaphore terminologique. Nous nous concentrerons notamment sur la corrélation possible entre la nature conflictuelle ou cohérente de la métaphore et les dynamiques qui se manifestent au cours de la traduction, en particulier pour ce qui concerne les retombées des choix de traduction sur la fonction des métaphores comme outils de cadrage (framing) dans les discours experts.
