Developing economies usually have unstable and weak institutions. Therefore, business internationalization to these countries involves several risks due to institutions differences between the origin country and the host country. In these countries, tourism is a key sector for their socio-economic development, as in the case of Morocco. For all of these reasons, the aim of this report is to identify institutional challenges encountered by companies, SME and/or sole proprietors when operating in Morocco in 2017. Besides, we want to know whether these challenges are noticed by local and foreign entrepreneurs in the same way. The results will give us useful information to be successful in developing economies, specially, Morocco.
