Resumen de “¡Por la salud y la paz de todos los pueblos!”: disertación histórica y sistematización sobre las idas y venidas entre la salud y la paz

  En el siguiente ensayo se tratará de llevar a cabo una reflexión sobre la relación entre los conceptos de “salud” y de “paz”. Para ello, se expondrán, en un primer momento, determinadas claves históricas relativas a la mitad del s. XX, al final de la Segunda Guerra Mundial: estas claves, se defenderá, serán especialmente relevantes para atender al tema mencionado. Una vez expuesto el crisol histórico de la discusión conceptual que nos interesa, se procederá a sistematizar, a partir de él, las diferentes acepciones tanto del concepto de “salud” como del concepto de “paz”, partiendo de su significado más corriente o estándar (históricamente hablando). Finalmente, los autores del artículo, en un último apartado, se comprometerán con una forma de entender los dos conceptos y su relación.

  This following essay will reflect upon the relationship among the concepts of ‘health’ and ‘peace’. In order to do so certain historical keys relative to the mid20th century will be established, at the end of the Second World War. Said historical keys, purportedly, are especially relevant to tackle the aforementioned topic.

  Once exposed the historical melting pot of the conceptual discussion, we will proceed to systematize the different connotations of the concept of “health,” as well as “peace,” starting from its most common or standardized meaning (historically speaking). Lastly, the authors of the paper, in the last section, will resolve to find a way of understanding both concepts and its relationship.
