Resumen de Una forma relativamente nueva de teología: Recepción de la transformación metodológica de «Gaudium et spes» en Estados Unidos

En el proceso de redacción de Gaudium et spes emergió una novedad metodológica que, finalmente, estructuró la Constitución Pastoral. En el discernimiento de los signos de los tiempos reside «el alma del esquema» afirmó entonces Marie-Dominique Chenu; se trata del «enfoque empírico-teológico» (M. McGrath) que «marca una nueva época de la teología» (H.-J. Sander). El presente artículo examina la recepción de dicha transformación metodológica en bibliografía de Estados Unidos. Varias preguntas guían el trabajo, ante todo, la verificación de la existencia de una conciencia del cambio metodológico, también el análisis acerca de la conceptualización y las fuentes bibliográficas utilizadas, las perspectivas hermenéuticas que fundamentan los diversos planteos. El trabajo permite esbozar algunas peculiaridades fuertemente condicionadas por el contexto lingüístico.

A methodological novelty emerged in the process of drafting Gaudium et spes that ultimately structured the Pastoral Constitution. According to Marie-Dominique Chenu, in the discernment of the signs of the times resides «the soul of the scheme». He refers to the «empirical-theological approach» (M. McGrath) that «marks a new era of theology» (H.-J. Sander). This article analyzes the reception of this methodological transformation in the bibliography produced in the United States. Several questions guide this essay. First and foremost, the study of the awareness of this methodological change. It is also considered the conceptualization and the bibliographic sources used, and the hermeneutical perspectives that support the various points of view. As a result, it is possible to outline some peculiarities strongly conditioned by the linguistic context.
