During the second half of Fifteenth Century, Lunigiana was a frontier zonein which more regional states were faced, even though that territory was largelyowned by Malaspina’s family. One of the largest representatives was the marquisGabriele of Fosdinovo, matched by his wife Bianca. This article is devoted to herand in particular it reconstructs her political activity in which she showed initiativeand independence.
