Este texto plantea una revisión a la historiografía del arte del País Vasco de los años 1950-1975 desde una perspectiva feminista.
Siempre en relación a los cambios sociopolíticos que vivió el territorio a lo largo de la segunda mitad del siglo XX, el artículo estudia cuándo, desde dónde y bajo qué premisas se escribió y legitimó la narración histórica que ha llegado hasta la actualidad. Tal revisión ayuda a plantear algunas de las razones por las que al parecer no hubo mujeres artistas en el periodo indicado, es decir, las razones que motivaron la exclusión de las artistas en el discurso histórico, así como las consecuencias que ha acarreado la naturalización del relato

This essay investigates the historiography of the Basque Country’s art between 1950-1975 from a feminist perspective. The text studies when, from where and under what premises the historical narrative was written and legitimized, understanding that it was always a process in relation to the social and political changes that the territory underwent throughout the second half of the 20th century. In this way, such a review helps to raise some of the reasons why there were apparently no female artists in the indicated period, that is, the reasons that motivated the exclusion of these artists in historical discourse. Finally, it also reflects on the consequences of the naturalization of this story
