    The Praxis group was a school of Yugoslav thought that proposed a humanist socialism, publishing the Praxis magazine from 1964 to 1974 (and its international edition from 1965 to 1974) and holding an annual meeting on the island of Korčula, Croatia, in which participated important names of the international Marxist and critical thought. His political-intellectual action challenging certain orientations taken throughout the Yugoslav experience called for a radicalization of the self-management, criticized the bureaucratization and the mercantile reform, and conducted a class analysis culminating in the criticism of the escalation of the nationalisms. The repressive action of Yugoslav authorities put an end to the teaching activity of the main intellectuals of Praxis.

    O grupo Praxis foi uma escola do pensamento iugoslavo que propôs um socialismo humanista, publicando a revista Praxis de 1964 a 1974 (e sua edição internacional de 1965 a 1974) e mantendo um encontro anual na ilha de Korčula, na Croácia, no qual participavam nomes de relevo do pensamento crítico e marxista internacional. Sua ação político-intelectual contestadora de certas orientações tomadas ao longo da experiência iugoslava reclamou por uma radicalização da autogestão, criticou a burocratização e a reforma mercantil e realizou uma análise de classes que culminava na crítica à escalada dos nacionalismos. A ação repressora de autoridades iugoslavas colocou fim a atividade docente dos principais intelectuais da Praxis.
