  Este ensayo propone cuatro tesis para una agenda de investigación de Estudios Críticos de Biblioteconomía y Documentación (Critical Library and Information Studies. CLIS). El autor argumenta que un compromiso normativo con las bibliotecas como instituciones sociales debería guiar cualquier futura agenda de investigación en este campo, que las ciencias naturales son un modelo pobre para la investigación y que la neutralidad debería abandonarse para que cualquier proyecto de CLIS proponga alternativas.

  This job proposes four theses for a Critical Library and Information Studies (CLIS) research agenda. The author argues that a normative commitment to libraries as social institutions should guide any future research in this area, that the natural sciences are a poor model for researching and that neutrality should be abandoned in order to achieve that any CLIS project should propose alternative ideas and reflections.
