    Turquía ha reorientado las prioridades de su política exterior para adaptarse tanto a la inestabilidad de su entorno inmediato como a las realidades geopolíticas de un mundo en cambio. Muchos consideran este giro hacia Oriente como una alteración sustancial de su alineamiento estratégico, un cambio de eje que la aleja inexorablemente de la órbita occidental. En realidad, esta reorientación responde al carácter multidimensional de su política exterior y Turquía trata, no sin dificultades, de mantener el equilibrioestratégico entre un espacio euroatlántico cada vez más dividido y una Eurasia emergente.

    The priorities of Turkey’s foreign policy have been redirected in order to adapt to the instability of their neighbourhood as well as the geopolitical realities in a changing world. Many consider this reorientation towards the East to be a change of axis, which, in turn, would imply a distancing from the western orbit. However, this realignment is rather due to the multidimensional nature of the country’s foreign policy and, despite the difficulties, Turkey is attempting to maintain the strategic balance between an increasingly more divided Euro-Atlantic space and an emerging Eurasia
