Apatite fission track (FT) analysis along a NNIV-SSE profile between Mestersvig (72°N) and Andree Land (74°), East Greenland supplements earlier FT work in East Greenland, basement rocks. The results reveal a general pattern ofcontinued exhumation. Apatite ages for the profile show part ofan exhumed partial annealing zone (PAZ) with the onset o f resumed fast exhumation around 225 Ma. The southernmost sample deviates from this pattern suggesting that the fossil PAZ may have been downfaulted.
