Mastocytosis describes a group of diseases characterised by the accumulation of mast cells in the organs and/or tissues. It does not seem to have any influence on drug intolerances, except for opiates. The community pharmacist has a role to play in the treatment of these conditions, and notably in the prevention of adverse effects.

Les mastocytoses sont des maladies caractérisées par l’accumulation de mastocytes dans des organes et/ou tissus. Elles ne semblent pas avoir d’influence sur les intolérances médicamenteuses, hormis pour les opiacés. Le pharmacien d’officine a un rôle à jouer dans la prise en charge de ces affections, et notamment dans la prévention des effets indésirables.
