    The pharmacist must be involved in the prevention and treatment of periodontal diseases. Any site of infection of dental origin, which presents permanent oral septicity and chronic inflammation, can have consequences on the organism, lead to manifestations in other parts of the body and interfere with certain systemic diseases.

    Le pharmacien doit s’impliquer dans la prévention et le traitement des maladies parodontales. Tout foyer infectieux d’origine dentaire, qui entretient une septicité buccale permanente et une inflammation chronique, peut avoir une incidence sur l’organisme, entraîner des manifestations à distance et interférer avec certaines maladies systémiques.
