Dificultades en el área de idiomática con que ingresan y egresan los estudiantes de la Universidad Tecnológica Intercontinental

    El propósito de esta investigación de un diseño cuantitativo - no experimental con un nivel exploratorio – descriptivo es identificar las dificultades lingüísticas de los estudiantes del 1° año y 5° año de las Carreras de Ingeniería Comercial y Ciencias Contables de tres sedes: Fernando de la Mora, San Lorenzo y Luque de la Universidad Tecnológica Intercontinental. El tipo de muestreo aplicado fue el probabilístico al azar, para el cálculo de la muestra se utilizó la tabla de Morgan de una población de 289 estudiantes, correspondiendo 165 estudiantes, agregando 32 estudiantes. Se utilizó como instrumento una prueba de conocimiento con indicadores según los cinco niveles de comprensión lectora de Cambra: Literal, Inferencial, Criterial, Apreciativo y Creador. Según los resultados se puede afirmar que el 1° y 2° Niveles fueros logrados en un alto porcentaje por ambos grupos de estudiantes, viendo una mejoría leve en el 5° curso, en los Niveles 3 y 4 se observaron menos logros pero el Nivel 5, el creador es el menos logrado. Los errores ortográficos más detectados corresponden a la acentuación de las palabras y en cuanto a la caligrafía la principal dificultad es la legibilidad que son los dos indicadores menos logrados en las redacciones. Los alumnos del 5° año muestran un nivel superior, en un 20 % aproximadamente, con rela-ción al 1° año, por lo que se puede afirmar que durante los años de permanencia en la Universidad se han logrado superar algunas falencias lingüísticas pero no lo suficiente.

    The purpose of this descriptive -non experimental investigation, in an exploratory- quantitative design level, is to identify the linguistic difficulties of the 1st. to 5th. year students attending the Commercial Engineering and Accounting Sciences Career Courses in the three college sites of the Intercontinental Technological University, namely Fernando de la Mora, San Lorenzo and Luque. The type of sampling was the probabilistic random, using the Morgan table to select the sample from a population of 289 students, corresponding to 165 students, plus 32 students. A knowledge test, with indicators according to the five levels of reading comprehension of "Cambra": Literal, Inferential, Criterial, Appreciative, and Creator was used as a tool. According to the results we can say that the 1st and 2nd levels were achieved in a high percentage of both student groups, seeing a slight improvement in the 5th course. At levels 3 and 4 less success was observed and in 5 level, Creator is the least accomplished. The most notable spelling errors are the accentuation of the words and in handwriting, the main difficulty being legibility which is the less accomplished of the two indicators in writing skills. In the 5th year students a higher level is shown, 20% approximately, compared to the 1st year, so we can say that during the years of tenure at the University certain linguistic shortcomings have been overcome but not enough
