Perspectiva teórica sobre las competencias tecnológicas en la formación de los profesionales de la información en México

    Hoy en día, la sociedad de la información en la que vivimos, está en constante evolución tecnológica, lo que ha traído un efecto en el desarrollo económico y social a nivel global, generando que el uso de diversas herramientas y dispositivos faciliten las actividades cotidianas de las personas; sin embargo, existe una línea entre la población que sí tiene acceso a la información y la que no la tiene, y mucho menos al conocimiento que emerge de ella. El siguiente texto, se presenta con el objetivo de analizar las competencias tecnológicas que se deben desarrollar en las instituciones formadoras de los profesionales de la información. Por lo anterior, la pregunta inicial de este trabajo es ¿qué competencias tecnológicas debe desarrollar el profesional de la información en México? Para dar respuesta a la interrogante, la base de la metodología es a partir del análisis teórico a través del método deductivo de las fuentes documentales consultadas, en donde se realizó un estudio y la descripción de las competencias en las áreas de las tecnologías de la información y comunicación; así como también de algunas universidades como la Facultad de Humanidades de la Universidad Autónoma Estado de México; la Escuela Nacional de Biblioteconomía y Archivonomía y la Facultad de Ciencias de la Información de la Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí, quienes forman profesionales en las áreas de la información respecto a su misión declarada y la relación con las tecnologías de información y comunicación dentro de su contexto educativo, lo que contribuye a la importancia de la gestión documental para la toma de decisiones, el acceso a la información y a la transparencia. En consecuencia, surge la necesidad de que los centros educativos a nivel superior determinen ante qué retos se enfrentan para estar a la vanguardia en la era digital, lo que implica educar a la sociedad que se está formando como los futuros profesionistas quienes tendrán que responder a las competencias que demanda el campo laboral.

    Por lo anterior, este documento reflexiona principalmente los siguientes asuntos importantes: 1) La brecha digital en la sociedad de la información, que presenta un panorama general de la desigualdad en el acceso a la información; 2) retos competenciales sobre las Tecnologías de Información y Comunicación de los profesionales de la información, en donde se señala que los modelos de enseñanza – aprendizaje deben responder a los cambios del contexto disciplinar y se apuntan las principales destrezas en las que debe estar habilitado el profesional de la información; 3) estudio de casos: Instituciones de Educación Superior en Ciencias de la Información, el cual muestra a tres escuelas y sus respectivas asignaturas enfocadas al área de las tecnologías; y finalmente, se presentan algunas consideraciones, algunas propuestas y las referencias bibliográficas.

    Se espera que el texto, sirva como fundamento para futuras investigaciones por parte del gremio de las Ciencias de la Información, quienes deberán estar en una constante actualización en las innovaciones que se hacen en los ambientes electrónicos y digitales, con el fin de que los nuevos egresados respondan a las demandas sociales.

    Nowadays, the company of the information in which we live, is in constant technological evolution, which has brought an effect in the economic and social development worldwide, generating that the use of diverse tools and devices facilitate the daily activities of the persons; nevertheless, a line exists between the population who yes has access to the information and who does not have it, and much less to the knowledge that emerges of this one she. The following text, he appears with the aim to analyze the technological competitions that must develop in the forming institutions of the professionals of the information. For the previous thing, the initial question of this work is what technological competitions must the professional of the information develop in Mexico? To give response to the interrogante, the base of the methodology is from the theoretical analysis to slant d the deductive method of the documentary consulted sources, where there was realized a study and the description of the competitions in the areas of the technologies of the information and communication; as well as also of some universities like the Faculty of Humanities of the Autonomous University State of Mexico; the National School of Biblioteconomía and Archivonomía and the Faculty of Sciences of the Information of San Luis' Autonomous University Fortune who professionals form in the areas of the information with regard to his declared mission and the relation with the technologies of information and communication inside his educational context, which he contributes to the importance of the documentary management to the capture of decisions, the access to the information and to the transparency. In consequence, the need arises from that the educational centers to top level determine before what challenges they face to be to the forefront in the digital age, which it implies educating to the company that is formed as the futures profesionistas those who will have to answer to the competitions that the labor field demands.

    For the previous thing, this document thinks over principally the following important matters: 1) The digital gap in the company of the information, which presents a general panorama of the inequality in the access to the information; 2) challenges competenciales on the Technologies of Information and Communication of the professionals of the information, where one indicates that the models of education - learning must answer to the changes of the context discipline and to there sign the principal skills in which the professional of the information must be enabled; 3) Study of cases: Institutions of Top Education in Sciences of the Information, which shows to three schools and his respective subjects focused on the area of the technologies; and finally, they present some considerations, some offers and the bibliographical references.

    It is expected that the text, it serves as foundation for future investigations on the part of the union of the Sciences of the Information, who will have to be in a constant update in the innovations that are done in the electronic and digital environments, in order which the gone away new ones answer to the social demands.
