Resumen de Die Mulomedicina des Teodorico di Cervia. Neue Perspektiven mittels einer interdisziplinären Annäherung

The Mulomedicina of Teodorico di Cervia is centered in an interdisciplinary project which is actually applied for at the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG). According to our preliminary work in the last years it can be stated that the editions of Dolz, Klütz and Heinemeyer (1936/37), focusing the Mulomedicina, urgently have to be renewed, because their base at that time were only two manuscripts. One of those, a manuscript stored at the National Library of Vienna (MS 2414) has obviously many textual mistakes, partially due to the fact of copying. New researches about the sources for the Mulomedicina also will have to be done, because it now can be assumed that the so-called “Albertus-Vorlage” not only was the source for the hippiatrical text of Albertus Magnus in De animalibus libri XXVI, but for the Mulomedicina, too. These points are only some to be focused in future research project.

La Mulomedicina de Theodoricus de Cervie est l’objet d’un projet interdisciplinaire qui est actuellement en cours à la Fondation allemande pour la recherche (DFG). Le travail préliminaire de ces dernières années a montré que les éditions de Dolz, Klütz et Heinemeyer (1936-1937), qui traitaient de la Mulomedicina, doivent nécessairement être refaites, car elles sont fondées sur deux manuscrits seulement. L’un d’eux, MS 2414 de la Bibliothèque nationale d’Autriche à Vienne, présente beaucoup d´erreurs de copie et d’autres différences textuelles avec les autres manuscrits connus. Le texte de l’Albertus n’est pas seulement une source du texte hippiatrique d’Albert le Grand, De animalibus libri XXVI, mais aussi de la Mulomedicina. C’est un point important du projet.
