Resumen de Estrategia de gestión ambiental para el desarrollo sostenible en la cuenca del río Naranjo, municipio Majibacoa, provincia Las Tunas, Cuba

  En el presente trabajo se propone una estrategia de gestión ambiental en la cuenca hidrográfica del río Naranjo que permite reducir la influencia de los problemas ambientales. Para alcanzar este objetivo se realizó un diagnóstico que incluye la revisión de la bibliografía referente al tema así como la realización de talleres participativos donde se aplicaron diferentes técnicas, herramientas y metodologías como: Tormenta de ideas, Matriz DAFO, Matriz EPIR y criterio de expertos, permitiendo identificar los principales problemas ambientales que afectan a la cuenca. Se diseñó un sistema de información geográfica (SIG) que contribuye al manejo de los recursos naturales dentro de la cuenca. Los resultados indican que los principales problemas ambientales son: Degradación de los suelos, Deforestación (pérdida o carencia de las franjas hidrorreguladoras en el cauce del río y embalses), Deterioro de las condiciones higiénico sanitarias en asentamientos humanos , Contaminación de las aguas interiores y Contaminación del aire; cuyos orígenes se deben, fundamentalmente, a la inadecuada planificación del territorio, lo que unido a la deficiente educación ambiental de la población, contribuye no solo a mantener la situación ambiental, sino también a agravarla, con lo cual puede llegar a ser irreversible su recuperación. Como parte de la estrategia se proyectó una serie de acciones consensuadas para disminuir los problemas ambientales de la cuenca, donde los actores sociales participan activamente en su gestión, con lo cual se favorece el proceso de toma de decisiones orientado al desarrollo sostenible.

  Presently work intends a strategy of environmental administration in the basin hydrographic of the river Orange tree that allows to reduce the influence of the environmental problems. To reach this objective he/she was carried out a diagnosis that includes the revision of the bibliography with respect to the topic as well as the realization of shops participate where they were applied different technical, tools and methodologies like: Storm of ideas, Main DAFO, Main EPIR and experts' approach, allowing to identify the main environmental problems that affect to the basin. A system of geographical information was designed (SIG) that contributes to the handling of the natural resources inside the basin. The results indicate that the main environmental problems are: Degradation of the floors, Deforestation (loss or lack of the fringes hidrorreguladoras in the bed of the river and reservoirs), I Deteriorate of the sanitary hygienic conditions in human establishments, Contamination of the interior waters and Contamination of the air; whose origins owe you, fundamentally, to the inadequate planning of the territory, that that together to the population's faulty environmental education, it not contributes alone to maintain the environmental situation, but also to increase it, with that which can end up being irreversible their recovery. As part of the strategy he/she was projected a series of actions consensual to diminish the environmental problems of the basin, where the social actors participate actively in their administration, with that which the process is favored of taking of decisions guided to the sustainable development.
